We are pleased to announce a new way to support the project. Director Joshua Frankel has produced three limited-edition silkscreen prints which celebrate the collaborative process of the opera’s creative team. Each silkscreen print is 23” wide by 17” tall and printed in an edition of 12. 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting the production of the opera itself.
This print represents one of the first staging-concept renderings for the Jacobs/Moses opera. The set will be composed of modular “blocks” that the cast will rearrange during the performance, revealing how we are affected by our landscape and can affect it in turn. The halftone dots from the silkscreen process echo the effect of the LED video screens on the blocks, a technology which is being developed by our partner 3-Legged Dog.
